Why doesn't Ford make this whole thing right? The complaints must be staggering.
Because it is not cost effective. It is cheaper to start with a cheap battery and then only replace the ones that have complaints.

For the record. I lock mine in the garage, wifi turned off on truck, drive 10 miles one way to work (100 miles weekly) and have only had deep sleep happen once. I was cleaning out the truck and left the doors open really long time and then did not drive a couple of days. As long as only get in truck when drive and keep locked when away from truck... no problems. Eventually I will go AGM like everyone else on this forum since software is already setup for AGM.

Ok - curiosity got me - did granddaughter get a Noco5, or a new battery pretty quick was her payment for Honda?
Or even a lesson about being stranded with a dead battery LOL. Oh tough one.
🥰 Told her to keep fan speed on 2 and day lights on all the time as that keeps alternator at 14.4 otherwise it waits about 15 minutes for ice to warm up before turning alt on (that was honda mpg increase trick). Told my son in law the battery and tires and brake fluid refresh plus the trans fluid service (it had the variable drive belt you want to keep fresh fluid on for longevity) WERE HIS PART AND I WOULD EAT THE $9K TRADE IN OFFER on my Maverick! Granddaughter was happy as her apple phone would bond to the CRV and her old car got 11 mpg and had permanent CEL on!
Her mom's gave her AAA for flats, etc... She won $1,500 scholarship for her chicken (2nd ? place) when her high school team won state in BBQ. The team placed second in Jr Beef Masters San Antonio Rodeo cook off that year also (I think she was second chicken also, not sure).

So, the EB's are apparently unaffected? I was wondering.
Never had an issues with deep sleep or battery in my over year and a half of ownership with my 2023 Maverick EB Lariat. Only 2 recalls both software related and both done in my driveway by Ford Mobile Service. 👍

Should interesting when I finally get mine back from the dealer. I brought it back to get an issue fixed with the hood alignment. It’s been there since 9/24 and now I got a deep sleep message on the Ford app. It’s supposed to be done by Tuesday (delayed from Milton).

I picked up my 24 Lariat Hybrid on Feb 12, 24. Have not had any problems during that time. Last week I started getting sleep mode on my ford pass app and notes that say "drive to reconnect ford pass." I called the dealership and service expert said that battery was low and I should take it out on the highway and drive for an hour to recharge the battery. I asked about installing an agm battery and he said mine already had it. (I will check). Is now the time to replace the battery or is there another step before that. If I use a battery maintainer do I have to reset after each charge?
