Dashcam... can the accessory outlet be changed from always on?

Just picked up my '22 XLT and got half way through installing the dashcam. "Cigarette" plug is always on. Can that be changed to work with the key?
I installed a fuse jack on my Escape to solve this, but most of the fuses are always on or are the new double fuses (3 spades). Not sure how I'm going to solve this just yet...

Mine isn't always on, it stays on longer than other lights, etc. but goes off in 10 to 15 minutes.

I wired mine to the passenger footwell fuse box, I think fuse six which is a spare that's only on with the ignition.

The timing on the 12v and USB is random at best and unreliable. Definitely worth hard wiring it with a voltage cutoff. I had the same issue and it went well beyond 45 minutes, but I never planned to keep it that way anyways. No issues since hardwiring.

I’d wire to something with the key on. Or pickup a battery pack to help offset the power from the maverick battery. Forscan has a time limit for the accessory 12v. Think it’s setting are in seconds. I lowered mine.

I have a 2024 Lariat Hybrid. I just put in a dash cam. I noticed that it stays on 2 hours after I turn the truck off even after I vacate the vehicle. I have also noticed other accessories, phone bluetooth connection and radio will stay on after I select the car off for a certain amount of time if I do not vacate the vehicle. My question is how long will the accessorize plugs like the power supplies stay on after the truck is turned off? I cannot find the answer in manual. Is there any way to select the time duration?

Wire it to always hot fuse and get one of these:

Will turn off at your selected voltage to keep from draining battery. I run my dash cam in "park" mode which allows me to see if anyone has tampered with or broken into my vehicle, but at the same time, I don't want to come back to a drained battery, so this cable works great.
