Dash Cam Recommendation

[Reece @ DI]

Has anyone tried this maverick specific dash cam from Amazon. The install looks as easy as can be. I like it because if you don't would want 24 hour monitoring you can hook it up to the lane assist power and don't have to run any wires. It would shut off when the truck is turned off.

This one is interesting for sure. Im doing to use a dongle with the Vivo on my wife's Escape for a similar setup, but I wonder how the one you mentioned would work with the Mav. Everything I have seen is without the auto dimming mirror more wiring work would be needed though.

Also researching dash camera not sure which option better the oem style without having to run cables everywhere or the mirror types one's that strap over mirror or type replace current mirror. Have a 2025 xlt fx4 with regular flip type no other features like auto dim and also want camera in rear so looking at fitmax or wolfbox pro-tip but both over 200

Lots of topics discussing dash cams here & all over the internet. Wolfbox 900 if you don't mind paying 300+ for the setup. Outstanding night vision & recording & field of view (takes the place of factory mirror). The only drawback is that on a bright sunny day, seeing what's behind you can be a challenge vs the factory glass mirror. More time to install if you're doing it yourself also.
