where did you get the fact that I'm using blue lights from?

I think you meant to respond to the OP, not me
My bad.

It says the factory led low beam cannot be changed by owner. Is this the case or can you swap it out for an led light with fan etc ?
You want to swap a proper oem led light to an aftermarket drop in led? That’s the worst idea I’ve ever heard. Also, no you can’t…the maverick doesn’t have “bulbs”. It just has individual led chips that reflect into the housings

I don't want to change it, I just wanted to know for in the future when they do die.

As said.. they're led chips. And if for whatever reason they do fail. It will be covered under warranty. And if you're out of warranty range.. there will be cheap replacement housings by then.

The led reflector headlights are designed for xx,xxx hours of use.

I don't tint them. I open and paint the internals

Simple as that? Take taillights off, paint the internals a flat black?

I wouldn't say "simple" if you've never done it, but yes, open them up and paint everything black. Give it the look of tinted with out losing the visibility

Thanks much for that info. I will definitely do that when my XLT Ecoboost arrives! p.s. Didn't really mean simple just the solution to it. Real cool looking.

Have you don’t this before. You’ll have to either cut the lens off, paint and reseal or bake the lens off, paint and reseal. Not sure how ford has the taillights together
