02 Ford Explorer for Me!

My current daily driver is a 2009 Jeep Wrangler JKU, swapped a 5.3 LS and a 6L80E out of a Silverado into it about 4 years ago. I love the Jeep, but the gas mileage is a nightmare. Also, I'm in the process of building a 1987 Chrysler Conquest.

Current daily is a '16 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4, 4.0L, crew cab. Sorta funny; previous truck was a '00 F-250 crew cab long bed V10, 4x4, 4" lift, 35s, 22 extra clearance lights. Went from one of the longest pickups you could get to the literal shortest one available for sale at the time.

I've been on a "less is more" materialistic diet as of the last few years. A hybrid AWD Maverick is the current dream car. But if I'm being realistic with myself, a FWD hybrid would suffice. I've driven less than 1% of the mileage in the Frontier in 4WD.

Bought a brand new 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited AWD last year to replace a 2011 Nissan Rogue. Sold it a year after since I got an offer essentially a lilttle over what I paid for! It's a great car all around but not an everyday car. Replaced it with a 2021 Nissan Rogue Platinum AWD for Wifey and as a weekend car.

I also have a 2016 Honda Civic Touring which is my daily driver. It's has great mpg for a non hybrid specially in the beginning! Still holds up very well and I'm contemplating whether to keep it or sell it for the Maverick. Since my last offer from Carvana is still significantly high. It'll almost pay for the Maverick XL. That's how are used cars such in demand right now!

Both great cars. I'm surprised the Flex didn't do better than it did. More roomier than an Explorer with a lower entry height. I am casually looking for a Flex AWD 3.5L non-ecoboost V6 with factory tow.

Acura TL and TSX manuals are definitely unicorns. The TL has the J35 if I recall?

Yeah I really like everything about the flex. Perfect size to drive. It's actually about to the same size of the maverick. It's practical and quick. I think the styling was too polarizing.

I'm still debating keeping it, but it's getting to the point where it is one costly repair after another.

The Acura tl type S has the j35, but my base is the j32. Still a fun car with the 6 speed. I'll probably keep it, it's not worth that much money and I know I will regret letting it go

My folks had, until about a month ago, a 2010 Hyundai Tucson.
Totaled in a rear ended accident.
Now have a 2021 Kia Soul.
I’ve got a 2001 Ranger Edge, that’s running into issues all of a sudden!
Sale or trade in for new Maverick.
