Cruise switches.. but wrong?

I have a 22 XL. I ordered switches awhile back and just took delivery of my Mav. Now im installing all my parts that collected dust, and i installed my cruise switches. BUT now after looking at others. I installed/bought the adaptive cruise switch. Which the “how to” i followed gave me this part# which is beside the point.

The main question is, will this switch be able to be coded/working on my XL, or do i need the other switch? What would coding be if it were to work?

This will work just fine. I had mine set up like this. Just make sure you select the correct switch part number in Forscan using plain text and you will be all set.
