Wanna hear something funny? I ordered my September 18th. When I did, the dealer said I should have it by Thanksgiving!

I have received exactly THREE emails from Ford since then! Do they even HAVE a 'Public Relations' department? You'd think they could get a couple of High School kids to write a monthly update email for people who ordered stuff from them EIGHT MONTHS AGO! Just tell me you have my order. Just tell me that I'm not wasting my time waiting for something that will never come. Hell, even WISH.COM follows up telling you your order is delayed!

Anyone else ordered around that time frame or earlier?

Feel the same way. I just want an update as to here is where my order stands. We think you will be built around.... or we are waiting on the following to get your order in place.

Ordered in June and took delivery a week ago. The truck has exceeded our expectations. Personally, other than notification that our vehicle had been scheduled for production, built, and shipped, I had zero interest in random emails from Ford - probably would not have even read them. Unless the status of your order has changed, what could they say that would be of value to you?

Sorry to hear about your frustration with Ford. I ordered on Sept. 28 and got an order conformation email. Since I hadn't hear anything from Ford or my local dealership for months, I called Ford (about 10 days ago) and was given a VIN and a build week of May 30th. If you haven't called Ford yet, you might be surprised. I was!! 800.334.4375

Sorry the dealer told you Thanksgiving for a Sept 18th order because that is so false. The rough average wait time for most orders is 8 mos +/-1.5 mos ..... So realistically, it looks like June.

Keep the faith ...... your patience will be rewarded.

I ordered Oct 15 2021 no call or emails from ford I called every month to get any type of update customer service keep saying call the dealer you ordered from I finally got a vin number April 25 2022 and on too the next wait I guess customer service was totally crap if you ask me a simple email saying sorry for delays because of x y and z but NOTING I had to do all the calling around

I waited for 10 months. Not at one point did I think "I wish Ford would send me more random emails although there is no update on my truck".

I ordered in August. I got one email confirming the order. I got another one In March, which thrilled and excited me, until I read it. It basically said to be patient - sucker. I want the next e mail to say "come pick up your new truck"

I have been buying Fords for over 50 years, and have ordered a few trucks in that time. I even have a Ford tractor that was also built in Mexico. No problemo.

But now - this sux! But there is no alternative.

I ordered 3 Sep, but I have multiple constraints and a smaller dealer. I'm cool with waiting. I do wish for each month we wait that Ford would send us a 1/32nd scale model of a different Maverick as compensation. Then we could all have something to trip over in the morning.

It could be worse. You could be buying a Bronco. Maverick buyers don't suffer a fraction as much as those guys. Think multiple years to get your Bronco.
