I'm wondering when will Ford ever crash test the 2022 Ford Maverick? I keep searching online for anything about it and there's still nothing from the NHTSA or IIHS. They still haven't acquired one yet to finally give it its crash test ratings. I'm sure they'll be good because it's based off the Bronco Sport and Escape which already receive good ratings from both agencies. Any window sticker you see out there still doesn't have them in yet. I'm assuming by the 2023 model year they'll finally be in. But unfortunately, some have already been put to the test in the real world with a couple of the posts on here of crashes. The one that sticks in my head is the Velocity Blue XL that got into a head-on with a Semi back in October.

Ford has already crash tested dozens, but those results are not published. All OEM's do significant crash testing internally.

IIHS & NHTSA determine which models they want to test for publication.

The hybrid and EB will have the same ratings as structurally they are the same.

The IIHS has a Maverick in its possession. It posted a photo of it early this month.
