COVP # ?

I got the email from ford about my order being placed so I called my dealer and asked him for a priority code and COVP number. He told me “ priority 10 but there is no COVP # because maverick doesn’t have one”. What now?

COVP is optional now (but recommended)

I got my Dora, got the email from Ford, and the next day a copy of the COVP, but the only # it shows is a tracking # (tracking the entry of the COVP into the system). That page says Ford would confirm the COVP within 72 hours. I haven't checked back on it with my poor sales guy, he was too busy for me to add to his troubles!

Guess I’ll call and talk with manager tomorrow, he still says maverick has no COVP number. Probably why I haven’t gotten a maverick yet. I’m bout ready to order another from a different dealer.!!!

Just got a followup email from my dealer with paperwork saying "COVP - Approved". It has a tracking number, an authorization number and an order number on it.

I see that Ford is saying COVP is optional now, but I am really glad to have it.

The memo from Ford in thread below says that ROVP have to be completed by Oct 5th.

Yeah saw that as well. Doesn't absolutely rule out it being option but still........... I feel much better having it done. Too many people waited a year to find out their dealer never finished their order with the COVP.

Just got a followup email from my dealer with paperwork saying "COVP - Approved". It has a tracking number, an authorization number and an order number on it.

I received the same from my dealer, too.

Does anyone know what the authorization number is because it’s different then the 2022 COVP. I assumed it was my private offer because it mentions something about smartvincent.

Can you use the COVP tracking number to check the status of your COVP claim yourself? Website? Ford chat? Customer service call?

Mine is a new 23 order, not a 'rollover'.

If your dealer took a copy of your license you can be assured that they entered those details with your order.

Your dealer wants your order to go through, so they can have another sale on the books. Most dealers aren’t taking hundreds of pre-orders. They need the sale and will do whatever they can to see your order delivered.

Did you ever check back with your dealer? Sounds like the tracking # needs to be checked by the dealer??

Call Ford CS & ask them if status shows 'Unscheduled Clean' that's what you want to hear-
