ROVP / COVP

Can someone please explain what these terms mean? I am not familiar with auto dealership/auto maker lingo. Since I haven’t received any correspondence from Ford or the dealership I’m wanting to make sure I have the right info before I call them about the 22/23 switchover

ROVP = Reservation Order Verification Program
COVP= Customer Order verification Program

Basically boils down to the same thing, only the first is applicable to the fairly recent online reservation system. Either is the method by which a dealership submits an order from an identifiable purchaser (as opposed to dealer stock orders destined for the sales lot) to Ford for approval.

Yes, that is it! (But I think ROVP is Retail Order Verification Program)
They are the exact same thing....I don't know why they call them two different things! ROVP is mostly used for Mavericks....

Process and info needed are now the same for both.

In the communications we get from Ford, COVP and ROVP are mixed up and used interchangeably. I assume there was once a difference...but they are the same now.
