My Oct 21 rollover Hybrid XL order has finally arrived. When my order rolled to MY23, the dealer offered to do a courtesy delivery to my local dealer here in Texas. It got here earlier this week.
After a few days of confusion, my original dealer realized that they would have to do all the paperwork, to include sending temp tags. We did financing paperwork, but since it's out of state he wants me to register it at the DMV/tax office here in Texas. I'm not even sure if I CAN register it myself here since I purchased it from a dealer, even if it was out-of-state. We also did the paperwork through docu-sign, and after a quick check earlier I'm not sure will be acceptable for registration purposes either. He also just emailed me the temp tag. Anyone that used a courtesy-delivery dealer, is this as crazy as it seems to me?
My truck's finally here... let's see how hard it is to get it home.
