Love my @MABETT mud flaps but managed to shake loose the two bottom screws in the driver side rear piece. Can anyone tell me what I need to go out and purchase to replace those?

Ford Maverick Couple Screws Loose. well.... lost. lost-screws

Green circles - clips in place
Red circles - screws shaken loose

FWIW - and you can kinda see from the picture - these mud flaps do a good job keeping my truck cleaner longer and making washes easier. big fan. Thanks @MABETT

Thanks!

I might end up having to go with amazon but I always prefer a local hardware option if I can find it. So much easier to test fit in the parking lot and resolve if not correct. I'm just having trouble figuring out how to search inventory at Ace, TrueValue, etc since I guess everyone calls these different things. Unless I'm missing something obvious, there's no standard classification, naming, measurements to identify these?

Self-Tapping Screws: Mabett usually includes black Phillips-head screws. If you are missing them, a #10 or #12 x 3/4" stainless steel self-tapping screw (with a black oxide finish to match) is the standard replacement.
Plastic Rivets/Push Pins: Some users prefer using 8mm or 10mm plastic push rivets (standard Ford size) if they want a cleaner, factory-style look without using metal screws into the plastic liner.

Perfect thanks. I did notice there are some hidden metal clips around the backing plastic which I imagine help support the metal screws. Appreciate the help!

I used #8 x 1.5" Phillips Truss head on my rear mud flaps.

You can get trim screws at any auto parts store. I lost the bottom screw on both rear flaps as well. I dont think I would run self tappers...

The bolts are M4.2x1.41x___ (whatever length you need). I think the stock ones are 19mm (0.75in) long.

The metal clips are called U-nuts. They are spring loaded to hold the bolt better and supposed to prevent falling out. Make them tight but don't crank them.

I have the same problem.
The fasteners are not very good.
They have popped out on mine too.

Also I wish the flaps were softer / more flexible / bendable. Mine are hard rigid plastic and they scrape on objects / dips / speed bumps, etc.

On this same note I constantly loose the underbelly cover screws too. Purchased a 20 pack online. Used about half so far.

This is what I ended up finding after matching the ones from my other mud flaps in-store. Apparently the threads align with #8 screws which is why @BlueSpec1 's solution probably works great too.

I did have trouble finding a captive washer the same size. The ones from the factory measure at 16mm diameter but a lot of stores carry only the 12mm variety.

Ended up finding them at AutoZone but *not* the first one I checked. 🙄
