Just a little FYI. I have a MY23 Ford Maverick XL. It came with the factory DIBL. I decided to replace it with a SIBL from Line-X. They removed the DIBL and sprayed the bed. On the tailgate there were 8 screws (without washers) that fit inside these little cups to hold the DIBL to the tailgate insert. Line-X did not not have the Torx screws with the washers so they left the cups on to hold the tailgate liner insert in place.
I order the Ford screws with the washers and replaced all 8. The screws come 4 to a bag so if you need them you will need 2 bags. Without the washers the screw without will not hold the tail gate liner insert. I included a picture of the DIBL screws and cups and the SIBL screws with the big washers. If you replace a DIBL with a SIBL you will at least need washers.
