Continued Sync 3 Frustrations......

Generally very happy with this vehicle. The Sync system frustrates incredibly. My phone does not automatically connect with bluetooth (i-phone). I have to do it manually every time. When I use Car-play, it has to be re-booted every other day. And all the display settings, ambient lighting, backgrounds, etc go to default settings. I should have the latest update, but that does not seem to matter. It is also set for automatic updates. I know this has been discussed but if anyone has any tricks, I would be happy to listen........

Do you have a Lariat? It's the only trim level with true SYNC3. The XLs and XLTs have a Ford infotainment system without some of the SYNC3 features.

What's your version number? The latest one from a few months ago fixed the settings issue for me.

The "automatic updates" feature has never worked for me. Even checking for updates failed. I had to use the USB method.
