Put me in the Corvette, I’d drop the rear psi by two and raise the front by four then on a closed circuit track I’d smoke the Camry.

The L84 was a fine motor, you just had to know how and when to mash the go pedal into the floor.

That 1963 model was the Best looking Corvette ever !

there are lap time comparisons using professional drivers. Old cars were fast for their time, but modern economy cars can go 90mph all day long, even without oil. Modern sports cars are insane when compared to old sports cars. You can go down to a dealer and drive home a 180+ mph car.

when comparing power, remember to lop about a third off of HP & torque for 1971 & earlier, as they reported gross horsepower, rather than the net horsepower for 1972 and later.

For most vehicles, there was no real change from the 1971 to 1972 engine, but looking at the reported figures side by side, you'd think that 1972 was when emissions went wild

Well, after removing the seat (which turns out to only have a single connector, with the cable secured by a single push pin.) I do indeed have an airbag warning light on the dash, and the seat heater control for the passenger seat is none the wiser.

To avoid the airbag light after removing 2nd row seats in Sienna hybrids, you can buy a plug in resister that someone sells for $35/ea or a 5 cent resister that you have to push in and tape and hope it holds.

Might be worth trying the resister approach on the Mav. Heck I could mail you a couple since they came in a 10 pack. 2.2 ohm is what the Sienna needed.

Am I the only one who immediately thought of Ted Bundy? He pulled the passenger seat out of his VW bug to make it easier to kidnap his victims. I'll never see a car missing its passenger seat without thinking of him.
