I would go to your dealer and ask him for YOUR sales code and YOUR order number. He should have given you that info on paper when you ordered your Maverick. If he didn't then I would ask for it now. Then you will be able to call Ford (or chat) as long as you have that info. They can confirm that an order was placed for you. Then you won't have to deal with the dealer until your Maverick comes in.

I received an email from ford within 5 minutes of leaving the dealership.

I did receive the paper and I gave ford both the order and sales code and they couldn’t find it.

Update: After long phone conversations, here is the BS I got from my dealer.
When I went to order my 23 Model Opening day, He clicked on Send Order, and the button would not work, he contacted his ford rep, ford IT support, and other reps in an attempt to solve the issue. The issue went past the deadline for dealers to submit orders but apparently my order is still in the bank(Unfortunately according to the dealer.) Today he said everything has been fixed and I am now just waiting on scheduling. HOWEVER, I still have not received an Email saying the order has been confirmed. Really pissed at this point. I just want a status email in my inbox. I don't care what it says. Also I want the hybrid, I do not want to spend $100 on gas when prices go back up. It may cost my sanity and cost me some life expectancy. But it will be worth it.

I am waiting for a Mav, which should be at the dealer next week. Besides the known delays, everything worked fine so far: emails from Ford, Ford Chat, Ford marketing and my excellent dealer.

When the window opened for the 2023 Mav, I placed a new order with same dealer. Same process, but this time I did NOT get an email confirmation from Ford. Last week I checked with Ford Chat and they confirmed that order has been received and is being processed. Talked to my dealer and he has no clue why I have not received my email from Ford. He confirmed that order is correctly in the system, and we should be good. I will be following up on this issue !!

I talked to Ford Chat today and they can not find the order. I posted a separate thread about the issue. Dealer claims an IT glitch prevented him from submitting it on time but today supposedly the issue was resolved.

Finally pieced everything together. My dealer has my order SAVED but not SUBMITED!!! He can not submit it because of the lack of hybrid motors. Once the motors come in, he will click submit and then I will get the emails. But he also claims he will "pressure his people to notify him when the engines come in" In the meantime I will call him maybe once or three times a week now that I know what is going on so I can put pressure on him to get this submitted.

Yeah......no. The order banks are closed. There is no "when the engines come in". Unless Ford decides to reopen the order banks, which they might do. But it is very unlikely. If it happens, I would bet on them only opening the banks for more EcoBoost, not Hybrid.

It is really unfortunate that so many salesman are just completely full of poop and can only tell lies.

You need to find a new dealer.

The order banks are closed, he screwed you.

Man that sucks. You litterly did everything you could. Ford makes this way to complicated. And the dealer screwed up.

jfc. May I ask how/where you "independently confirmed" that you can still order a Maverick?
