Comparing 2022 XL Hybrid to 2024 XL Hybrid - physical differences

The bright blue (Velocity Blue) is so easy for an old guy like me to see in a large parking lot where I forgot where I parked it. Now I'll most likely be wandering around the lot looking for it!!!

Look at the 57 Chevy for my screen name photo, still have it, I painted it Dodge "Plum Crazy" purple back in 1974 and just did a repaint last year same color, so guess I shouldn't use the easier to find on lot excuse, must be me.

I have been toying with trading my 22 Area 51 for a 24 Red one, but was disappointed at the price Carvana offered for a 9500 mile loaded First Edition. So will hang on to it. In the winter with all the crud on the truck the color looks really bland. Anyway I do like either blue on your trucks, my 57 Chevy is blue. I too like the temp on the knob. Will also look into the plate covering the area susceptible to collection of road crud. Thanks for the comparison, it was helpful

I agree, my 2022 xlt hybrid is also velocity blue, my wife picked out the color so we are good

Yes, the Hybrids do come with a full-size spare tire however it's not the same size as the original equipped tires are. Being that no hybrid is AWD a different size tire for temporary use isn't a big issue.

Just picked up my ordered 2024 XL Hybrid (a 2023 "roll-over") today, Feb 27, 2024. I have a 2022 XL Hybrid. Noticed a few differences.

2022 is Velocity Blue
2024 is Atlas Blue

2022 has exhaust Resonator
2024 has no resonator

2022 dash indicates 2 rear seat belts (has 3 belts)
2024 dash indicates 3 rear seat belts

2022 temp knob has temp displayed on knob and info screen (early 2022 build)
2024 temp knob has no temp display, only on info screen

Wife likes Atlas Blue, I like the Velocity Blue, One is for sale, guess which one!

I never noticed that about the rear seat not indicating the 3rd seat belt!! I have a 2022 Unicorn!

I wanted the velocity, and ended up with the atlas. The medium blue it really growing on me.

Sold my 22 XL Hybrid Velocity Blue with 11,8xx miles on March 7th, already miss it. Hope the 24 XL Hybrid Atlas Blue will grow on me but doubt it. Wife loves the Atlas Blue. Guess I'll just sit out in the garage and stare at my Purple 57 Chevy.

My wife told me if I was going to wait a year for a hybrid that I could get the lariat version. She was very right about the upgrade and I have no problem with the truck 🛻. I love the blue!

There is an F150 in that color in my neighborhood. I agree, the color is fantastic. Not sure why Ford got rid of it.

I traded my 2018 F-150 in Lightning Blue to my 2022 Maverick Lariat in Velocity Blue. Very similar.
