With the Bronco fiasco at least Ford attempted to communicate and update folks on the number of self-inflicted wounds/delays etc- With the Maverick we dont hear anything at all.. Weak/sauce-

I ordered July 13 and never got an update from Ford. Last week I called the marketing team the girl was very nice she confirmed my order in their system and email was correct but no update. She said I should be receiving the email with VIN before too long. Well at least I know they have my order.
Oh one more thing, last Friday I did a Ford.com search on dealers 100 miles around and every one showed Mavericks had just arrived, most of them hybrids. I got all excited and thought they had some and I was just gonna go buy one. Dealer said Ford.com doesn’t know those are orders coming in not inventory for sale. 🥲 I asked if they ever have ones that people gave up on, don’t want any more, he said they’ve had a couple and they added a couple thousand to the price on those at the time.

I ordered in august. I don’t have access to a tracker. Did you call Ford Customer Service? If not, do that.
Why? They will just say, you have an order, it will be scheduled at some point. PATIENCE!

Right, exactly. In the original post, he is questioning whether or not he even has an order. It doesn’t even sound like he received the order confirmation email. They can confirm that he has an order, when it was placed, and where it is at in the production ….

EDIT: I see now he posted this morning that “I received emails from Ford but it did not have a production date. The dealer says they can't look anything up without a VIN and they don't have one either.”

So, yeah, at this point, just have patience. They don’t update unless they have something to update. If they pull your order, you’ll get an email with a build date. Until then, you can just open this message for your update:

OFFICIAL UPDATE: Your Status Has Not Changed. Your Order has Not Been Selected for Production Yet.

(This update will expire when you receive an email from Ford with your build date.) 😂😂😂

Order Maverick Hybrid XLT vs luxury on 7/8/2021 order confirmation 0414 priority code 10. Received 1 cryptic message from Ford saying I get a bunch of free trinkets. Ford needs a lesson in customer service, both Ford and the Dealer has gone dark. I am surprised no other manufacturer has a competing hybrid at 40 MPG. I like the Maverick but frankly since the dealer and Ford have gone dark I feel like I am getting scammed because Ford keeps sending me offers to buy the Bronco Sport, but can't update me on the Maverick I supposedly have reserved in their system.

I ordered 9/18/21. No emails from Ford at all... Dealer contacted said they ordered then went dark. After 3 months I called Marketing who found the order number but couldn't give me an ETA.

All I know is it is ordered....

Take a trip down to the dealer and speak to the sales manager. Ask them for proof your order was placed. It should be in their system.
Once again you should have a pre Dora and Dora from Ford that you signed, On which in the upper right side will show your dealers code and customer code which you will need when you call Ford's customer service to make sure they in fact have your order! Good Luck

I wonder if Ford had any idea how much trouble it was getting into when the Maverick hybrid was so popular with impatient millennials and generation Z.

We just ordered a Maverick XL and were told that it will be at least a 9 month wait.

Thanks for everyone's feedback. Just spoke to Ford Customer service. I'm in system and should be going to production. Rep said dealer could have provided info but went dark on me. She said to go sales manager, I actually made trip to the dealer and they were too busy to talk to me about it. So consumers, this is why most of us dislike dealerships.

Was the first Email a confirmation email saying that they (Ford) received the order? THe next email should be a date (week) when your truck will do into production along with your VIN.
