Howdy folks. Decided to join and get some info. I do not yet have a maverick, going to try to place an order when banks reopen.

I have a TRX which I’m going to sell soon. It’s been great but I honestly keep finding myself in situations where I don’t want to use it as a truck, because I don’t want to damage it. I’ve had my fun with it, now I want something a little more practical. I bought it from Granger under msrp, hoping to order a maverick from them.

Right now I want an XLT hybrid with luxury pack and copilot. From what I’ve read those options are going to delay the build, but it’s what I want. I got lucky and only had to wait 2.5 months for the TRX to get built,I don’t see that happening for the maverick.

If you're selling the TRX shortly what will you drive for the next 12-18 months until the Maverick comes in?

That's a beautiful truck, by the way....But as a hybrid Maverick owner I can definitely swear by the gas mileage!!

I have a little Kia rio for a daily. I’ll put a hitch on it.

I had a fiesta st awhile back and this is how I got by.

LoL, similar to what I'm doing. Switching from a 1000+HP Mustang GT, to a Maverick XLT Hybrid. I opted against the Lux package because of the drop in bedliner. I want the spray in. Selling this one soon:

That’s sweet. Presumably twin turbo?
I’ve had my fun with fast cars too, I had a viper with bolt ons and a few others. For now I just want a practical truck and I want to free some money up for land.

So does anyone know if it's best to get the spray in bedliner from the factory do an aftermarket one? I too am going to be ordering a 2023 Maverick but I keep going back and forth between the Hybrid and the EB but I know I want a spray in bedliner, lol. Not sure if doing a spray in liner from the factory adds any time to the actual delivery?

I wouldn’t think twice about having a bed liner sprayed in after I took delivery if it meant getting other options that I want.

Got my dealer to do a spray in Rhino liner after a buy-on-sight on the lot. Aftermarket installer, they did it and limo tint in about 4 hours. Definitely over sprayed in some spots and there's some bleed over that I found in some of the mounting holes and crevices but overall it's a damn nice coat, super thick and very durable. My bed rails will be infinitely scratched to hell compared to the bed liner over long term.

Procharged. Little P1X running 17# of boost on E85. I just don't drive the Mustang enough. 3,300 miles in 4 years. My wife won't ride in it for the most part. My van sucks gas on my commute, the hybrid won't.

DUDE!!!! Before you sell your Dodge you MUST take a pic of it next to your Fiesta towing a dirtbike. This has MEME thread potential all over it!!!!

Also if you dont want to wait I will trade you my Granger XLT FX4K staight up when it comes in this fall!!!

I get that. I was putting about the same amount of miles on the Viper. And I was getting bored with the power and was about to start modifying.

Either is fine, I just prefer mine to be built with it. I don't like drop in bedliners because the cause rust from trapped water. Like my Mustang, the Maverick will be parked in winter so it doesn't rust. That's what my old van is for!
