I put the Dawn Entrerprise strips on my 2025 Velocity Blue Lariat about 4 months ago. They are well made and match the color perfectly. Easy to install too.
Do by chance have a picture?
I been considering them, ever since my first scratch.

I know that you said your ding is on the lower edge, and since the Maverick sits pretty low, I wondered how many vehicles would be low enough to leave a ding that low. Years ago, I got a nasty door ding pretty high up on my Taurus, like a few inches below the belt line, way above the body side molding which was mid way up on the door.

In my opinion, I would think that percentile-wise, the higher molding location would be better. Most normal pickups and SUVs all sit higher than our trucks, not to mention all of the jacked-up trucks around now. I hate parking next to those monstrosities. And if the ding is lower, it is less visible, too.

Maybe both high and low locations, lol?
Agreed,
By installing mouldings you're just trying to hopefully sway the law of averages into your favor. If the moldings would have saved me from getting the scratch on the side of my door and I think they would have. Then the mouldings would have been worth it.

I believe a shopping cart make this one.

Got my first ding. I need body side molding please help me.
I have also installed the Dawn Enterprises Lower Body Side Moldings. Besides protecting the side of my Maverick, It also seems to give the Maverick a more pronounced look. I has a local Body Shop put them on for me, as I saw in a different thread that another Maverick Owner had gotten the Left & Right Side mixed up when putting them on. After 1 year, I have had no problem with them !!

Those are pretty nice. I think I may invest in a pair of those.

I like the look; barely noticeable. I'm wondering if they're large enough to protect the lower region. What's your experience?

Those are just rubber strips, you could put them anywhere,,,,,,

HRG
I think Dawn designed the length to fit along the upper part of the door, but you might be right.

These are pretty cool. Like the more aggressive look. Expensive, but cheaper than trying to fix a ding or dent.
Exactly
