Is it relly worth the money for the cold air intake mods? And what are the ones folks found that worked out well?

From stock, the Maverick already has a CAI essentially. Use the money towards a drop-in filter (Green, K&N, etc.) and a tune, which will free up a few ponies and some torque.

Look at it Thustly OP.
My factory 2024 Eco pulls in air from outside.
If it’s 85 degrees out side my engine pulls in 85 degree air.

A cold air intake would need a massive refrigerant based cooling system to put colder than ambient air into your engine.
Massive because of the volume and velocity of the sucked in air.

ā€˜Sucked In’ Hah ! Remember that marketing personnel are paid experts at separating you from your money.
Don’t get sucked in~~~~~~~~

Su ~ Susu ~ Suh Sucked in ~ sucks sucks suck your wallet dry.
That’s my ditty.
