Can the brightness of the climate control panel be turned up or down without affecting the dash lights. I have to turn up the dash lights really high to see the defroster control etc.

Oh, same! On the 2025 if I turn the dash brightness down the way I like it, I can't see the hazards or other buttons because they're too dim

Agreed this is a problem on my '22 as well. When I turn the instrument panel brightness down to a good level, the climate controls are just too dark.

I have to turn the dash down because the reflection interferes with seeing out the drivers window. It is almost as irritating as the mirrors not dimming.

I feel this is a safety issue as the bright dash lights are distracting at night. The dim climate control. light cause me to look away from the road and this could be dangerous.

The pre24MY's that got the rear camera recall upgrade done - have commented their screen brightness increased, or was finally adjustable, like we have.
I'm curious if they also messed with the button light levels.
Perhaps the prior years are less bright until they get the recall.
Seems like that would fall under a different module though than the screen.
Hard to test too.

I have the same problem in my 2025 XLT. I've tried screen protectors without success. I agree that this is a nuisance and potential driving hazard. Who can we notify at Ford that this is a real issue? The salesperson/dealer simply suggests dimming the display. The reflection is still there on the dimmest setting.
Has anyone come up with a DIY solution?
