Check Engine Soon on new Hybrid

We picked up our new Maverick Hybrid last Friday. We've put just under 500 miles on it since picking it up and really enjoying the truck.

Yesterday my wife was driving home from work and I got a notification on my Ford Pass about a Check Engine Soon alert on the truck. I messaged my wife as she's driving and she confirmed that the Check Engine Light had just come on.

Truck seems to be working great, but it will be interesting to see what the dealer finds once we can get it in for service.

This happened to me last Friday as well (8900 miles).
I called the dealer and he advised me to wait it out over the weekend and see if it cleared on its own. It cleared Saturday after the second start/warm up cycle.

This just happened to me for the second time. The truck was delivered on 18 Oct. The first was 30 Oct. Today was the second time with the same message as above. Both times I was in eco mode. Normally I drive in slippery or normal mode. Why do I get this message only when I drive in eco mode?

Happened to me as well last week. Had about 500 miles as well on it. Took it to the dealer and they told me it was a faulty sensor and virtually harmless. They replaced the part and things seem okay. I'm not sure if its just my head but it seems like its harder to get the car into battery only mode when driving now.

I am having that same issues,,,not in your head hard to get into electric mode. Also my check engine light came on yesterday but this morning it was off. Drove about 160 miles today once again check engine light came on. We will see what happens tomorrow. 9900 miles on truck!

My dealership had to replace the EGA. The truck went to dealer on Thursday morning. They expected a five hour repair. Just like Gilligan's Island the five hour tour turned into a five day stay. When the EGA was replaced the truck threw up 22 different electrical faults. Then the last TSB came out so I finally got my truck back on Tuesday afternoon.
