I'm about to jump into this pool party. I see that dealer behavior varies from wonderful to wretched. I note the recent post which described how the dealer sold to someone else a Maverick promised to the poster, with VIN and all. I note also the mention of the Ford Dealership Integrity Map, which I looked at. That is a useful resource.
I think a better resource would be one on this website which organized experiences by state. There is a lot of meaningful experience here, but it is strewn hither and yon. I think the managers of this site ought to create some way, perhaps an additional main menu item, where people could leave their experiences in an organized way. That means first by state, and second by named particular dealer.
I would also advocate east of use. So perhaps a spreadsheet that users could add to, and a requirement that the user's name be included so that entries are limited to those that represent Maverick buyers or potential buyers.
This may be a challenge, but let's face it: buying a Maverick is a trying experience and that experience is heavily determined by the dealer people decide to work with.
Thanks for considering this,
Donald
