Thanks. Dealership said they had one fluid for both vehicles.

I just wanted a second opinion.
They are only selling this one now at the dealer.

$10.94 each

But, they will have a record I used the correct stuff at home.
I have never seen that Kendall ULV. I did not know they made it. There is a shortage of all ULV Transmission Fluids.

This is interesting:

Implies it comes with particles, or two different density liquids.

Motorcraft's fluid says the same. Likely an additive that is minimally soluble in the base oils. Engineers probably thought better to have it fall out of suspension rather than add more additive carrier and alter the performance of the base oils. Also interesting that Motorcraft says to discard any partial open bottles.

Motorcraft quarts (shakable) have a 5 year shelf life but the 55 gallon drums only 8 months.

I always check the bottom of oil bottles & jugs once used to be sure there isn't a layer of additive on the bottom that'd fallen out of suspension. I did have this happen once with Mobil1 75w90 gear oil, even after shaking. ~1/8" of gooey yellowish on the bottom of the bottles. I re-did the diff fluid change a couple of days later!

I changed fluids on my 2025 hybrid yesterday at 22,096 miles. 300 ml came out of the PTU and just under 500 came out of the RDU. Both were very dark in color. Nothing significant on the drain plugs. I used motorcraft RDU fluid and Valvoline full synthetic for the PTU. I used Valvoline ULV for the transmission. I did not measure the transmission fluid removed but it took almost 5qts to fill it. I had the vehicle elevated and leveled and filled until fluid ran out the inspection/fill holes. Based upon the color of the RDU and PTU fluids I’m glad I changed them. The transmission fluid was clear and red so it was probably not necessary but it’s done. The videos and comments on this forum were very helpful!

For reference this is the drain plug I’m really struggling to find a part number for.

For anyone in the future looking for this part number it’s W719651-S450.
