At 47k my front pads are still almost full thickness. I just had to replace the rears with less than 2mm left on them. The electric E-brake seems to cause them to drag and wear much the than the fronts
This is why I asked about the auto hold feature, I believe it uses the electric parking-brake and if it is dragging it would cause premature wear.

Because the stability control is constantly applying the rear brakes whenever it senses any motion it doesn't like. Combine that with rear pads that are 1/3 the size of the fronts and the rears wear out fast.

The rear callipers look just like the ones on my 2015 Subaru and they always seemed to drag. My opinion is I suspect that they don't back off as much, I could be wrong...
the only thing that retracts the brakepads are the rubber orings on the piston, disc brakes always drag a little
