Change engine = new order date?

I'm pretty sure I posted this in one of the ordering/update threads and the response from others was it shouldn't be, but very specifically:

Did anyone else who converted their 23 Mav from a hybrid to EB (or other way around I guess) have their order date changed?

My DORA and original order was 9/19/22, and below on the email I just got last week it shows Order Date 1/13/23, the date chapman changed the engine. Now Ashlie did inform me "it allowed us to modify your engine but it did change your order date to today". Oddly, I'm pretty sure ford chat to me the order date was still 9/19/22.


I wonder if this screwed me over for a while, ie if it had stayed as 9/19 then maybe it would have gotten made sooner. IF it was definitely known to change the order date, I wish Ford would have notified of that, but then again I guess that's expecting too much.

My order shows placed 9/16/2022, and I just got scheduled. Don't think order date has much to do with when you're chosen for scheduling.

They never gave me a number really .. but my order is to be made, I just found it odd that my actual order date as shown in the screen shot said January and was just wondering if anyone else who changed had the same thing happen

I ordered in September, changed to EB in January and it changed my order date to January, but I am set to receive the truck next month.

But did your order date change to the date they entered your engine change? That's the question I asked to see if I was the only one or if it happened to all that way

Yes to the date of the engine swap.

When I changed from Hybrid to EB in December (and went to priority 10), it initially appeared like my order date was reset. When I got scheduled, the order date changed back to September.
