I have a 2024 Lariat. I bought bins that sit in the center console, it is two bins that stack on top of each other. While it does make the center console much more usable, it is almost impossible to get them out to reach the second bin or the bottom of the console. You definitely can not do it while driving.

Has anyone found a set that is easier to use?

I have the center console bins. I agreed they fit tight. I love them.
If they were loose, I imagine owners would complain that they rattle.
I just figured out what I would need while I was driving. That I keep on the top layer. Everything else in the bottom or the second tray down.

True - they could have designed a tab of plastic sticking up in the air to at least grab, perhaps front and back, offset on both trays so you could grab top or both at once for removing.

I only use while not driving, for stuff under the top level, but indeed gotta get a nail under tab holding it up to pull it up.
I'll have to confirm nothing under the top level could be useful while driving, but I think there is a USB cord in there so may want that on top level.

I only bought the top tray. I don't need the middle layer and it was cheaper. 😬

SIMPLE FIX!

I had the same problem. What I noticed is that the 2 stuck together due to a vacuum. Similarly to how sometimes it's hard to remove a trash bag from a trashcan.

To fix this issue. I drilled some holes in the side of one of the trays. I chose a location that wasn't noticeable. This made it much easier to separate the 2.

I got a set that was so bad I had to return them. They fit together very nicely by themselves but when inserted into the console they would NOT come apart and were very difficult to get out of the console at all. As another member on here has posted, I'm also going to get a replacement that's a single rather than a double.

Are all of you referring to the Musology cneter console storage bins? Or another brand?

I'll edit this since no one has responded...

I ordered the Muslogy center console storage bins (2 level) and am very happy with the results (the console had become too much of a catch all... like a woman's purse). However, when bragging about it and showing my wife... welp... they can be tough to seperate and they have some sharp edges...

I'll do the drill hole trick to eliminate vaccum to make them easier to seperate, and I'll see about taking my dremel tools to the edges and polish them a little to take some of the sharpness out..
