OK Maverick owners. It's here. I'm the neighbor that @Rule8Designs mentioned in the post. He's got a final product that works now. I'm very pleased with the finished product. It's an exact fit!I've been working with my neighbor (a '22 Maverick owner) over the last week to design a drop-in tray for the center armrest storage bin. Below are near-final screenshots of my designs in Solidworks. I'm printing his hopefully final tray now so I don't have real pictures just yet, but I plan to add those.
The main piece is a 4" deep tray and it includes a side slot to be able to slide in/take out a change organizer tray. I also have plans to design a drop-in sunglasses tray and a change cup (if you'd prefer that for coins) for the built-in side slot. Current plan is to sell the printable STL files on Etsy - will keep you all posted if there's enough interest in doing that. For those who don't have access to a 3D printer, there are plenty of online services who can print the pieces for you, plus likely some local options in most cities. Let me know what y'all think!
Glad you like it! A note for the others reading this post - I was limited in the size I could print with my Prusa Mini’s smaller bed, so the STLs I will upload to Etsy will include ones slightly larger that should fit on most Ender 3’s and other common printers and will span the full length of the console. The lid will still be able to close without interference on these longer trays. I will be providing links to reputable printing services online that can create one for you on the Etsy page once it’s up. You likely have local options too if you search “3D printing near me.” That would save you the shipping cost.
