@rule8any any possibility buying your plan can come editable in SolidWorks? I don't have a 3D printer but I do SolidWorks parts for fabricators (mostly metal). I just want to play w the design. If not I understand! We don't have our Mav yet to get dimensions.
I'd be happy to share the step file for any configuration you want, which as you know are more editable than STLs in Solidworks, or make a custom config if you want something more unique. But I'd prefer not to share the original part file. Just message me after you buy on Etsy and I'll help you with what you want done. Still working on the listing and final files but it should be up at some point in the coming week.

Thank you!! I've been super busy w clients but I will get back to this soon. I may end up getting our ordered Mav before I can get to play w SolidWorks again lol!

I would send this to R3Dcustoms.com as they're making all kinds of cool stuff for the Maverick, definitely check out their website
Thanks for this share-those tie down organizers are PERFECT

We just got our truck Wed and today I had time to look things over more closely. I was shocked the center console is just an open cube hole 😆 no tray or organization whatsoever 😄 now I have to find time to play in SolidWorks!!

OK Maverick owners. It's here. I'm the neighbor that @Rule8Designs mentioned in the post. He's got a final product that works now. I'm very pleased with the finished product. It's an exact fit!

Photos attached below. He will be offering the STL files for purchase soon on Etsy. Standby for more details soon from @Rule8Designs
https://www.etsy.com/listing/1193285026/fits-2022-ford-maverick-center-console

As promised, the printable STL files are now available from my Etsy shop at the link above!

Thanks to the complex shape of the center console bin, this was a more complicated project to get right than I initially expected. Can't wait to hear from those of you who purchase the STLs what you think. Please share photos of your printed trays in action! Also, please pass that link along to other Maverick owners who would find this useful!

Sorry but I'm a bit ignorant when it comes to 3D printing. If I want the console tray I'm to go to

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1193285026/fits-2022-ford-maverick-center-console

and buy a STL file for $10 and then find someone with a 3D printer and use that file to instruct the printer to create the tray - correct? Any tips on how to find a business that could use that file and create the tray for me? Could I just pay more and get the actual tray instead of just the STL file?

Yes, that's exactly how this would work. I gave a few reputable services online in the listing, such as Shapeways.com, but I would search Google for "3d printing near me." That way, you won't have to pay for shipping as there are likely regular people who have started small businesses based around 3D printing. My current 3D printer is not big enough to print these trays at full size. I had to call in a favor from a friend 2 hours away to print the one in the photos. So unless there is significant demand that would allow me to fund the purchase of a new, larger printer, I would prefer not to get into printing them for you guys. I'm sure if you take the Google route you will find something - feel free to DM me your rough location and I can try to send back a few search results that seem promising.

Possibly look into Sculpteo. It's a service that lets you upload an STL and independent services with 3D printers can give you a quote on printing it. Cheaper than Shapeways in my experience.

Sculpteo is another good option I mentioned in the listing. I agree it would probably be cheaper than Shapeways most of the time.

I bought the "Cosilee central armrest storage box" for the Bronco Sport off Amazon on a whim, hoping it would fit.

Too long, but I cut it straight across at the edge of the rear smaller compartment. Works well for my purposes.
I almost did the same but decided to hold off. I'm surprised Cosilee or some other brand hasn't made one for Maverick yet.

Working on it! But it's proven difficult because the tolerance of the lid closing leaves minimal to no space for a lip to keep the tray atop. Still working on it though!
I don't have my Mav yet, but I imagine that cubby is injection-molded, and would likely have a taper (draft angle) to it. If the cubby tapers smaller as it goes down do you even need a lip? If your organizer was also tapered to match, and sized to fit snug at just below-flush with the top, it would stay put.

That's rather counter intuitive You spend a s*** load of money on a 3-D printer just to get a $20 drop in console cancel liner. Like they say somebody needs to turn these out in mass production and make them available to everybody who wants one
I have this $230 printer and it prints great.

I will second this recommendation of an Ender 3 Pro. I started with the older Ender 3. It’s not the most refined option like Prusa i3 Mk3 and other $1000 printers but it works well and will teach you what you need to know to keep a printer aligned and calibrated. Don’t be fooled - 3D printing is a hobby in itself. That rabbit hole goes deep.
