4th trip back to trux outfitters this time to a different dealer
Are sent new seals new clamps etc
They resealed it but said up front don’t know how well it would work between the bed unibody design and ARE cap design .
But they tried and it still leaks
I know all bed caps and tonnou covers leak
But this is like not having a cap
Anyone else having this issue with any other bed caps from other brands or the ford cap that’s out there
Thanks

Mine leaks but we are building a carport for it. There is someone on here who covered the roof gap with a sheet of PPF. Sealed up good for him.

I installed my WeatherTech hard trifold tonneau and have not seen leakage from any storm or from car washing. Knock on wood with fingers crossed now that I’ve said that aloud.

Bought the cheap OEM soft cover and installed myself, no water inside.
uh.. yeah, my soft tri-fold is water tight also, but how in the heck is that relevant or useful for the OP?

I've never seen a shell or cap or cover that didn't leak.
Agree, have had every different brand from 199 to 1299 over 30 years and they all leaked. Sorry

To be fair aswell mine only leaks when I fill the gap with water pressure at the carwash.

Unfortunately the uni-body design of the Maverick makes sealing the front part of any bed covering....
A challenge.

It has rained tons in August with huge downpouring thunderstorms that flood the streets. My ARE MX cap stays completely dry. See my thread (latest posts) for my $16 solution (along with the tailgate seal). So far, so dry.
