Bedcover leaks?

Does any one have the hard roll up bedcover? I do and I'm getting water in the bed. Not a little water quite a bit. Please let me know your thoughts. Does anyone have the trifold? What are your thoughts?

What cover do you have? The Ford installed one?

My Ford trifold leaks. Not a lot but enough on every side that I need to have everything wrapped.

You're not likely to find a water tight bed cover, especially on a unibody bed.

The BakFlip MX4 tri-fold leaks horribly. I've mitigated it some with nearly a whole tube of RTV black silicon sealant, but it still leaks in the middle around the hinge points of the fold.

If you can find one that goes over the bed sides instead of being flush with the bed sides you might have better luck with preventing leaking at the sides. Of course that won't help if it has a bad design/construction like the MX4.

Mine leaks no matter how tightly I crank it down. There are lots of little uneven areas and seams along the top of the sides of the bed. It isn't too bad but I can't drop stuff in there and expect it to stay bone dry.

I made the executive decision not to worry about it.
