After having my Maverick Lariat First Edition for one Month (3/25), I took my truck in today to have the dealer add some options I'd ordered but weren't available (until now). One of the options was the "Touchlink Truck Bed Lighting", which adds some touch-sensitive lights inside the bed.
Tonight I looked out in the garage and noticed the cargo lights were on (on the cab and in the bed as pictured). I can't figure out now to turn them off. I looked on the owners' manual and found nothing about how to turn the cargo lights on and off. I called the Ford Support line and got a very sweet lady who had no clue, but said she could only look at the owners' manual as well... she found nothing either. The dealership was closed by the time I noticed.
The button I seem to recall controlling these lights now turns the Touchlink lights on and off. I have a sneaking suspicion that they may have wired the Touchlink incorrectly, but would like to make sure I'm not missing something before I tear into the accessory power box. I really don't want to leave them on all night until the dealership opens to ask them. The lights are already very hot from being on for a few hours.
Any thoughts??
