I bought a new cd player and it wont work in my Sync4 in my Maverick or in my Sync3 in my Mustang. It will work in a 25 Mazda and 2012 Fusion.
I would appreciate any help on this.

RIP them to MP3, put them on a USB stick, insert into the USB port. It's crazy that people are still carrying those damn discs everywhere.
We still have CD's. My wife's Escape still has a CD player.
How do you "rip" them without a PC, laptop or tablet?
We only use our phone's

That doesn't answer the question that was asked, but at least it's insulting.

Nice Mav! My portable cd player doesn't have an earphone jack, only 1 port of the crazy USb connections that end on sides with crimped ends?

On Amazon, I bought a Posspo Jupiter kit and I plug the USB A cable into the data port in the center stack. With an adapter it will also plug into the USB C port.
I just lay it in the front console.
Every once in a while it stops working, but wakes back up in short order.
I have a 2025 fwd hybrid.

Discs are fun.
Tapes are funner.
So easy to record your own tapes.
No skipping. No Buffering.

Recording music for free from free radio on to tapes came way before Spotify or Napster or Apple Music.

🤪

Tapes:
VHS & Betamax rocked.

You could record tv. AND SHARE IT.

You can record TV on a DVR today.
But you can't share it.

None of it easier than subscribing to a streaming service! My phone has become my camera, camcorder, walkman, dictionary, encyclopedia, maps, newspaper, credit card, and still a phone.

For the price of barely more than one CD, Amazon Prime gives me, my wife, and daughters all the music we could ever need. On top of that I get one audio book per month. I can create my own playlists, download them to my phone so even with poor network reception I have my tunes.

I understand the nostalgia for vinyl, but not at all for portable music. To each their own, but I'm still going to chuckle when I see someone with one of those big CD books! LOL
