Can you disable driver assist

New to the forum and did some searching, but could not find relevant info. I have a '25 XLT and the driver assist is really annoying. Where I live, the roads are fairly narrow and the steering wheel vibration is constantly going off. I've turned off the audible warnings and set to lowest settings, but jeez, the constant buzzing is getting to me. I've taken to keeping below 40 mph whenever I can to avoid the warnings. Is there any way to disable the system?

It’s a button on the end of the signal lever/switch. Press the end of it and you’ll see a message on your screen saying it’s been disabled.

Not the '25's. I can access through the touch screen, but that's a PITA.

Sooooo TRUE. In all fairness it's not like a novel it's just a reference book.
Mine is still in the glove compartment nicely shrink wrapped, but I have downloaded copy on every one of my handheld devices.
Rather than having to run out to my truck pull it out of the glove compartment. I can sit here on my phone and search whatever or go right to YouTube and see a demonstration video.

Does it stay off after car is on and off or does it reset?

Unlike the cruise control.
If you have turned on driver assist. It will stay on when you turn off the vehicle and restart.
You have to manually turn it off, by pushing the switch on the stalk.
Relevant to the 2021-2024 models.

bummed about cruise control personally. I like that stay on feature on her Nissan.
