I have a Lariat with backup sensors, we have diagonal (angled) parking along the street where I work and when I back out into the street, the placement of the little truck that displays rear parking sensor warnings is perfectly located on the screen to block my view of approaching vehicles. Have Ford engineers never seen angled parking?
Is there any way to move the little truck to the left side of the screen where it's not in the way? I know I can turn it off, and I usually do, after clicking OK to the seatbelt popup, OK to the ready to drive popup, then waiting for any cross traffic warning popups to go away, then clicking down to select "off" and OK to turn it off, no wait, another cross traffic warning popped up so I wait for that to go away. You get the idea.
I like having the sensors turned on backing out of my garage and driveway but I may just turn them off for good to avoid this hassle every time I back into the street at work which is multiple times per day. #Lariat Lux problems
