Those mirrors were never a piece of equipment on the XLT or the Lariat.
That mirror is one like my wife has on her 2016 Ford Escape base model.
Good luck snapping the mirrors off and on. I wonder how easy it is?
Yeah....he's not talking about the BLISS light....he's talking about an entire mirror replacement with the little "curved" mirror.......which you did say was never an option in the XLT's and Lariats. May be on some other Ford vehicles. My 250 does have the build in lower blind spot mirror on my tow mirrors.

His first post was not clear on what he was talking about.
I have the basest of base side mirrors, not even power.
All I want are blind spot like in the upper trim levels; I don't need to plug them in to be powered or heated or scented.

Will the replacement mirror with integrated blind spot mirror snap into my plain-jane XT housing?

I'm looking into this before buying generic stick-on blind spot domes.
As I stated my wife's 2016 Base Ford Escape as that style mirror. With the little mirror inside.

They are on XLT with no BLISS upgrade.

I have those.

ETA - and still not in the habit of using the extra bit. I'm in habit of positioning in the 1st place the main mirror to see the blind spot.

Ford's technical term in the manual is "blind spot mirror." My 2023 XLT Lux has them.

I have used a panoramic rear view mirror like below for over 40 years. I bought one for our Pinto in 1984 & moved it to the Taurus in 1995. I will move it to Maverick.

Goodyear 17” Panoramic Rear View Mirror $18.99

I have one of those convex mirrors in my Transit (not Connect), they are great. I snapped it onto my Maverick, but the B pillar is in the way of seeing blind spot. I also want to see where my tires are going when I park.

I am also in the process of moving the interior rear view mirror up off the windshield; I have to duck to look under it at some lights, signs, etc. It's really right in the way and pretty unsafe where it is. I'm going to get a new mounting tab, like the one glued to the windshield, and move the mirror up so it's mounted on the plastic housing above it's current location.
