I'm curious how much gear you all bring when camping and how you load the truck?

We are a family of three- myself, wife and teen daughter (yes she still happily comes along) and we bring a lot of stuff. Our trips last 5-10 days. When I looked at the bed of the Maverick (I haven't been able to order yet) I knew I couldn't load all our stuff in their.

So how do you do it? Photos would be nice if possible.

Our stuff-

Tent- 6 person instant
two air mattresses
three sleeping bags
stove
kerosene lantern (we love the warm glow and detest to cold light of other sources)
Fuel box (kerosene and ltighter fluid)
lil buddy heater
4 camp chairs
axe and shovel
two coolers (one strictly for ice cold beer)
water jug
solar shower
kitchen utensil box
dry food box
3 duffles for clothes
shoe bag
toiletries bag
3 day packs with personal items (electronics)

When camping with my Ranger, I have a tow hitch "shelf" thingy that holds the coolers nicely with a ratchet strap and bungies. Gives me an extra 16" of space to load onto. Also, I could get into the coolers without having to unload stuff in bed to get to them.

That hitch mounted cargo carrier is super useful

My wife and are on the road for a few weeks, camping on the way. We filled the bed under the tonneau cover, and filled the real seat to window height.

You have to find the golden middle where is not too much gear and heavy to carry, and you have enough to feel yourself comfortable while camping. I don't like bringing too much stuff with me though, that the magic of camping. You just nee 4 essential things: a tent, fire, food/water, something to sleep on. Clothes are also important, especially if you are going during the winter or autumn, when the weather is colder. You can check this list of camping clothes which you can take with you, a very good checklist.

Has anyone found a good way to mount an axe and shovel inside the bed? I’ll be having a Diamondback tonneau cover, so I plan to have those, along with a fire extinguisher mounted and in the bed at all times.
