Crazy the small changes Ford has made in just the short time this truck has been out. We did get one of the first trucks produced, since then they've made weird changes.
Our truck came with a drilled/tapped hole for the intake to mount to, shortly after releasing the kits we found other trucks with the mounting hole and no threads, so we supply a self tapping screw.
Today we had a gentleman stop in to buy a catch can, we offered to install it free of charge since he stopped in. Glad we did, again, Ford has made a change. The hole that is also drilled and tapped on our truck doesn't even exist on his! There is however a "slot" that we could easily pass a bolt through and then install a nut. The slot is picture below in the picture.
All of our cans will include a nut with the mounting bolt now for those of you who end up with a slot and not a tapped hole.
Thank you,
David Buschur
