Maybe it just got caught up in one of hundreds of fires to scorch half of Cali over the last year

If you think that's messed up, within the first week of owning one someone rear-ended me. I went with cyber orange for visibility!

Fortunately, the trailer hitch is ever so slightly proud of the rear bumper, so that was all they hit. made a little cookie cutter punch of their bumper, but I was perfectly intact save for a scuff on the hitch. Had no problem on a 1500 mile trailer haul a few weeks later. They seem to be built fairly sturdy.

Hello boys,

Co-worker was scrolling through Copart this morning and noticed a couple of Mavericks already posted online!

One caught our eye though, looks like got seared pretty good, was wondering if anyone here recognizes the truck and knows what happened? Doesn't look like a big collision considering front crash bar looks ok.

These things catching on fire???

Maybe instead of using the old Maverick name they should have used the Pinto name lol

Could have got caught in a house fire. Who knows, its all speculation.

Edit: actually looking at the picture again, the tires seem untouched so it looks like it definitely started in the engine compartment. I would think if it was a house fire or any outside heat the tires would have caught fire.

I'm no professional though so idk. Maybe it needed the fuel tank recall?
