Bumped from Priority Code 10 to Code 02. What does it mean?

What does it mean when you order from the dealer priority code 10 then gets bumped to a priority code 02?
Just wondering. the dealer couldn't or wouldn't tell me why.

From what I've read, that's a good thing! The lower the number, the higher the priority your build is.

Went to dealership last Thursday night and they told me my priority code is 02. When I placed my order it was 10.

It means that the region is shuffling things around to get vehicles scheduled. Pulling things to priority 02 to make sure that they have the parts to get your vehicle scheduled. It's basically been "pre-scheduled". Your order will probably be one of the first for production scheduling when it will be pulled to priority 01, I believe. Supposedly production scheduling has been moved up to July 29 due to high demand.
