After a few years of waiting and searching I finally found a bull bar that meets my needs. I wanted something that was vehicle specific, modest in size, and did not require me to alter or obstruct my tow hooks. I did not install the bumper protection bars, and instead designed and 3d printed ASA covers to fill the space (pictures below).

It does not restrict airflow to the radiator, and I assume it wouldn't block any pre collision assist sensors (I don't have that option). From what it says its only designed for an XLT model, which I have, but I had to make it work with the FX4. The bottom hole doesn't line up well and I had to install it from the top down.

Also, I know that this is not a real bull bar and will not protect in collisions etc, etc. Its mostly just cosmetic, but I plan to put a slim 8" light bar hanging below the upper bar, so there is some function there.

I think the install came out great and I'm happy with it. Took it through the car wash with no hang ups and drove it around for a while with no rattling or movement. Definitely a solid install.

Any reason you could think why it only work with XLT not XL?

This looks great. Thanks so much for bringing this product to light. Looking forward to ordering mine. Much Appreciated.
I really like it, But If you pulled up next to me and I looked over and saw just the nose of your
Maverick, I'd put that doobie out and hope I was down wind. Anybody see any actual Police Mavericks yet ?

I am looking at this product with the same intent of dropping the wings and using it as a mount for LED fog lamps. Several questions, I understand the uprights are two pieces. The top piece is secured by a screw or bolt at the side of the grill. If I don’t use the top portion, the unit will be anchored only at the bottom. Will that be sufficient to secure the nudge bar and the attached LEDs? Do you know the diameter of the tubing used in the manufacture? How simple would it be to fabricate a cover to close off the top of the lower upright?

They have different grills. So, different opening. Which is weird because the description and the video are on an XLT but the pictures are on a Lariat grill.

I saw this maverick with a police style Bull bar, looked like it was from a sedan. Looked pretty neat.

I like it, it also does not interfere with the airflow to the intercooler, so a larger IC can still be installed as well.
Post update when you hang the lights

Curious as to why this wouldn’t fit a Lariat?

I don't have the answer but I went ahead and installed one from @Maxzina on my '23 Lariat with no issues. All safety features checked out afterwards too.

any issues on the install or just follow the instructions. I have a 24 Lariat hybrid and either putting lights on the chase rack or something like this. Might just bite the bullet like you did and give it a try.

Hi all
I really like the look, the question I have is the radiator bracket it's attached to. I was wondering what would happen with a light hit to the front if the radiator would easily be damaged also. Maybe it's not a big deal, just curious.
