looks exactly like what I have on my F150. Perhaps a little overkill with the maverick but considering that deer season is starting and two truck on the farm have already hit bucks this year, maybe overkill is not the worst idea to keeping the maverick safe.

I agree does not look good.

I was looking for a low-profile, wide bull bar that serves the purpose and is almost invisible. I did a lot of online research but could not find any. My husband came up with a custom one and hope some manufacturer can make it.

I've had better luck with full replacement steel bumpers (like a Ranch Hand or ARB) than grill guards or bull bars.

Grill guards have a ton of leverage on the mounting points and can cause the frame horns to buckle upward and then the grill guard smashes into the headlights and the hood.

I'm not a fan of bull bars either. They hang further forward and at the same level as the front bumper, which reduces overall approach angle. I'd rather just scrape the bottom of the bumper (it's unpainted plastic anyway) than scrape a metal skid plate that might bend the frame horns.

I'd be interested in a Tremor front bumper swap but from my understanding, there are a lot more parts involved than just the bumper cover.

I am surprised by the lack of choice by now also. So many places supposed to be working on it 2 or 3 years back, so little result. Some ppl act like it's the first unibody ever, been a crapload of SUV and one or two other unibody trucks that have had some. Hell can even get one for minivans, mostly outside of US though which is weird, they exist, you'd think they'd try to sell a few.

What I want is a stouter bar down low for laying down brush... even in southern Canada "front country" you get a warm wet spell and there's 2 and 3 feet of vegetation springs up between wheel tracks on some gravel/dirt backroads. Don't wanna try to be mowing that with plastic... well you can do it once if you hafta, gonna wear bad if you do it slightly regular. Then also the top bars I don't care if they "do" anything so much as look scary, to dissuade dickwads from cutting out close in front of you. The "I don't particularly care if I hit you" look, because shiny vehicles tend to get cut off bad on the assumption you've got a lot of money in it so will stomp the brake.

Also want it to not hurt the aero and attract grazing unicorns while I'm camping.

I used the center section of Maxzina’s bull bar as the base for mounting an amber 20” LED light bar to serve as fog lights. Considering the limitations of the mounting points on the Maverick’s unibody construction, I don’t have a false impression that I significantly enhanced the truck’s frontal protection.
