After a few years of waiting and searching I finally found a bull bar that meets my needs. I wanted something that was vehicle specific, modest in size, and did not require me to alter or obstruct my tow hooks. I did not install the bumper protection bars, and instead designed and 3d printed ASA covers to fill the space (pictures below).

It does not restrict airflow to the radiator, and I assume it wouldn't block any pre collision assist sensors (I don't have that option). From what it says its only designed for an XLT model, which I have, but I had to make it work with the FX4. The bottom hole doesn't line up well and I had to install it from the top down.

Also, I know that this is not a real bull bar and will not protect in collisions etc, etc. Its mostly just cosmetic, but I plan to put a slim 8" light bar hanging below the upper bar, so there is some function there.

I think the install came out great and I'm happy with it. Took it through the car wash with no hang ups and drove it around for a while with no rattling or movement. Definitely a solid install.

I really like it, But If you pulled up next to me and I looked over and saw just the nose of your
Maverick, I'd put that doobie out and hope I was down wind. Anybody see any actual Police Mavericks yet ?

Looks pretty nice. I'll admit when I read the title of your thread I envisioned something much larger and visually overpowering. Yours seems to proportionally fit. Good for vehicle bumpers and other such obstructions... and pygmy bulls! 😁

I have been talking with Jet of Maxzina about doing the same thing. Unfortunately, I don’t have a printer to fabricate covers for the open angled uprights and to cover the mounting points for the wings. Like you I have been looking for a scaled down nudge bar solely as a mount for LED fog lamps or bar.

Yeah, I've seen the San Luis one somewhere on here. If I remember correctly, this bull bar was a one-off custom install done by their maintenance department. Something like this would be ideal, but I don't really have the means for fabrication. Looks good though!

Looks good, I would have made a bracket to go where the bottom side plate is to mount fog lights.

What brand is that? I have been looking for one as well and just want something relatively small to protect the front end in parking lots.

How close does it come to the ground? That 3 rd picture looks like it is almost touching.

I saw the Broadfeet one but that was a bit bigger than I would like. The only other one I came across is the Xipoqix that initially was something like $229 if I recall but apparently is not available at this point. At least on Amazon. Is that what you have by chance. Looks pretty similar with the left and right sides not assembled.

It is the Xipoqix one without the side bars put on. I 3D printed covers for it to clean the exposed side holes up. It mounts (mostly) flush with the bottom of the bumper. There is no clearance loss. I don't think its designed for an FX4, just an XLT. I assume there are subtle differences between the two underneath.

Xipoqix appears to have hit the street first. I’m fairy confident the Maxzina will introduce theirs fairly soon. You can expect it to be a clone of Xip0qix. Others will follow. One seller explained to me that multiple sellers may use the same manufacturer for their product and not pay the price of obtaining sole distributorship rights.
