Bronze painted 'fx4' wheels, RTX ranch

While I'm waiting for my truck to move from in production to built, I thought I would paint the wheels I have for it so they have time to cure before tires get mounted.

Time wise took about 3 hours from start to finish, material cost was $130. Duxone basecoat with 5 star flat clear, definitely enough material to do another set. I am very happy with how they turned out and should make my fleet spec xl look a little more appropriate.

New tires should be arriving soon, I got a good deal on some Falken wildpeak trails 245/65/17. Should look proper with a 1" level kit. I'll pull the stock TPMS sensors out of the steelies to reinstall into these

I found a dealer with incoming stock last month so I don't receive any emails from ford, I managed to access the tracker that says scheduled for 04/13

Duxone basecoat and 5star satin clear, I can get the paint code for the bronze if you're interested in the specific colour I used.

Thanks, but can check it. Looking at durability and assuming it is a polyurethane type.

Yes it's urethane, most durable would definitely be powder coating.

Always loved bronze wheels. Tried to find some for my Mav but came across an awesome deal on some grey Bronco Sport wheels. Post some pictures once you have them mounted.
