Brand New Ford OEM Bed Mat Came Dirty

Just purchased a 2025 Maverick XLT, and used my Ford points to get the Ford Bed Mat, when it arrived I noticed it looked dirty, after trying to clean it I found the spots on it look like string that's melted into the mat. These spots are all over the mat front and back. Has anyone else experienced this or is this normal? It looks terrible in person to be an OEM mat right out of the bag.

Evidently the mold was contaminated. Same thing happened to me a year ago. The new one for my 2026 is perfect.

Contact the dealer and see if they will order another then return the one you have.

Definately examine any new bed mat before leaving the dealer !

How long ago did you get the one for your 2026? It should be the same mat as this one. This one came in about a week ago

I inspect them now before leaving the dealership just to make sure. Yours is probably the worst I have seen.......................................

Sorry no, my dealer was great, ordered a new one and returned the bad one.

Its obvious, you cannot clean it, the contamination is baked into the rubber.

Just got mine last week and had some of these brown marks as well (not as many as yours). I think it might be made on a machine that molded brown mats and was not totally cleaned? It does not come off with moderate cleaning attempts so far. Still, I am glad to have it. I have the sprayed in coating but needed to use my Ford points on something.

I'm the same, just got LineX but wanted the extra protection and to keep stuff from sliding around on the spray in bed liner. Sucks yours has imperfections to, I'm gonna try to get another one and see if it's any better

Got a spray in liner, just to put a mat over it. Not sure what my logic was, but here I am.

Not sure what you mean by that...BUT....90% of my friends and fleet trucks my company has all put mats in over the spray-in. Spray in is nice for the sides....but way too slippery to not have a mat.

That's exactly how I feel. Some people think it's the most odd thing in the world lol. They always tell me "It's a truck bed it's meant to be dirty and messed up"
