I had recently all my modules updated. In one session they updated the PCM for the rough idle issue and in the second session they updated the trailer brake module. After the second update, my brake feel completely weird. First thing I noticed was as I first time turned the key to turn on the truck and had my foot on the brake, the brake just fell few inches down without any resistance. This happened to me now several times after that. Ever since software update, the brakes are super sensitive and it is very tiring to drive specifically in the stop and go traffic of LA. It is also very easy to come to sudden stop just by pushing a little on the brake pedal. This all is absolutly not normal and I will have the dealership to look at it again. Is there anyone else with these issues?

my brakes have always been "super sensitive". i've gotten used to it but still can't come to a complete stop without a little jerk at the very end.

The low speed grabby brake issue seems to be with the Hybrid. I have that grabby issue with my Hybrid, it is the worst in stop and go traffic especially if you are creeping downhill. Parking can be a bit jerky too.

I had actually no big issues prior to the software update. Prior to the update, the Brakes were "heavier" and felt "raspy". Now it feels like there is nothing there to control the pressure one puts on the pedal, which is the case for all of the cars I had before.

Hello! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this concern. Thanks!
