Could be similar to something we saw from another user a few weeks ago who had the ABS module fail. Worst case scenario from that is that you won't have power assist brakes (you would need to apply more brake pressure to get the same braking force), or ABS functionality.

I get this message whenever I try to accelerate while my foot is still coming off the brake. Power is reduced and taking off from a stop is slowed considerably. In the old days, we kept our foot on the brake and wound out the engine to get off the line quicker; I do not think you can do this with the Mav................:unsure:

@Edfull

Without being there this ^^^ sounds like a correct description.

Any chance you were touching both pedals at once?

You could try pressing both pedals at once intentionally and see if you can replicate the message.

I think both of you are discovering the attempt to protect people from themselves.

Pressing both pedals at once. And in times of a panic jamming both feet to the floor, because used to using both.
Except most the accidents you see where that happens, foot slipped off the brake and gas won.
And thru the business window the vehicle went!
"the car just accelerated on it's own, honestly, I don't know what happened..."
