I need some body work on my 2025 Eruptions Green Maverick. I’ve had two body shops I’ve used in the past tell me it will be tough to match the paint. Do you think a Ford Collision shop would have better access to the colour or would they have the same issue matching the colour.

Any professional body shop will have no issue matching color.

Shop should be able to mix the color. What they mean is that they can't just touch it up, or only do that area. They will have to paint the entire door and likely blend it into the rear door and front fender too.

Most bodywork paint never matches perfect. That is why they would blend the front door to the fender and rear door so it would be less obvious.

I managed a dealer shop for many years, 35, the only way to match a color like that is BLEND, meaning your fender and rear door will be blended and all 3 panels cleared, nobody is going to take a chance just painting that door, that means removing all the trim on those panels, moldings, mirror, handles, etc. Its going to cost a little more go to dealer shop, check the shop first, I've seen some shops I wouldn't let them paint my bicycle.
Most dealers farm out their work and get a percentage of the job. As for color its just a formular that they follow from the paint company, and yes different companies match better than others, we had 3 mixing machines and a experienced painter knew which to use on a difficult color like you have and do a test panel first and check it in the sun.

Color should be an easy match but getting the metallic to lay down the same as the factory paint is hard to match.
