Stained lower body molding....

Hey gang, I noticed that the black lower body molding on my Oxford White '24 is stained brown from mud puddles. I've tried using the high pressure hose at a carwash but this brown will not come off. Is there a secret to getting it clean?

Need photos. Did you try scraping off with a Mudshovel?

if a household all purpose cleaner doesn't work try weak diluted dishwasher detergent.

keep both off your paint.

wash and use some solution finish on all your black trim-the FORD plastic stains and mars easily with NO remedy insight (interior and exterior)

Use a white terry towel soaked with water and dishwashing soap.

I have no solution to your problem but once you do find one, may I recommend a product called CeraKote Trim Coat to protect it from happening again.

I applied it to all the plastic trim on my truck the first week I had it and one year in it still has a nice shiny rich look to the plastic.

"It's Been Awhile" since I had a white vehicle. My Mudshovel is in storage.

I bought the box with the applicators from Wall-Mart for around 16 bucks.

once you get the trim clean then use some Cereakote trim coating it is your friend as it puts a ceramic coating on the trim.
